IT032025 - IT Technician

Salary -

We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to maintain the internal network, IT infrastructure and hosted servers. The position is based at the company’s office in Birmingham, working full-time (40 hours per week). You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of users (internal, external and the German parent company IT team) Our ideal candidate will be able to provide expert technical advice, respond to and resolve issues, whilst continually driving a great end user experience.

Key Accountabilities
• Administering and maintaining our internal and hosted IT infrastructure
• Updating and replacing proprietary software and hardware
• Providing IT support to our in-house and external teams
• Support telephone system and mobile phones 
• Monitor and provide the required security for internet usage (Incl Cyber security processes), back-up solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Support CCTV and access control systems 

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Specifications

• Have a solid understanding of networking (router configuration, VPN’s, firewalls and remote desktop), software development (high and low lever programming), software installation and configuration, Microsoft Office 365 and Hosted email.
• Be a self-motivated and independent individual with strong communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with keen attention to detail

PCDT2025 - PCD Technician

Salary - Competitive

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our PCD Manufacturing Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced technicians to work with advanced machinery in a dynamic and supportive environment. if you are passionate about precision engineering and want to be part of a forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you. Location: Aston, Birmingham. Working Hours: Rotating shifts 6:00 - 13:00/ 13:30 - 21:00 (With a 10% shift allowance)

Key Accountabilities 

  • Operate CNC and manual machinery to manufacture PCD tooling
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and customer specifications 
  • Maintain high standards of quality and precision throughout the production process

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Completed Apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools, particularly PCD or carbide tooling
  • Experience with the following machines will be highly regarded: Vollmer QWD750H, Fanuc Alpha, CNC Studer S31/S33, CNC Tool & Cutter Grinding Machines, EWAG RS15, Brazing Machines.
